Appetizer, Seafood, Snacks
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
18 oz of Popcorn shrimp (Ready to cook)
Shredded lettuce (as a garnish)
Scallions (as a garnish)
Put two fistfuls of shrimp into the oven and cook per package directions preferably more crispy than not.
While the shrimp is cooking, mix the mayonnaise, chili sauce, honey, and salt in a large bowl with a lid that seals; set aside.
When the shrimp are cooked crispy, seal them in the bowl with the prepared sauce and toss gently until completely covered.
Place lettuce in a shallow serving bowl or on individual plates. Top with the shrimp and garnish with scallions.
An attempt to knock off the same recipe from the Coho Café
I usually make a half a box of shrimp and 1/2 recipe of the sauce as an appetizer for 2.
